Outstanding Youth in Education Award (OYEA)

The Outstanding Youth in Education Award (OYEA) seeks to recognise excellent young teachers for their youthful idealism, energy, enthusiasm and active involvement in the development of youths. Educators who are 35 years and younger are eligible for the award. For OYEA 2021, it is open to educators who are born on or after 30 June 1986. Nomination for OYEA 2021 is now open and will close on Tuesday, 12 January 2021.

President’s Award for Teachers (PAT)

The President's Award for Teachers (PAT) gives national recognition to experienced teachers for their dedication and hard work in developing our young. These teachers prepare students for life, as well as model commitment to continuous learning and enterprise. They inspire both their students and peers through their words and deeds. Nomination for PAT 2021 is now open and will close on Tuesday, 26 January 2021.

Step Up of Precautionary Measures for 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

Dear Parents,
With effect from tomorrow, 5 Feb 2020, we will step up on the precautionary measures that we are taking in school as follows:

1. All visitors to the school will be required to do a travel declaration and have their temperature taken at the guard house. This includes parents, parent volunteers and coaches. We appreciate your full co-operation with our security guards.

2. Assembly in the hall will be cancelled this week. All students are to proceed to their classroom in the morning for temperature-taking.

Enchanced School Measures For Novel Coronavirus

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

As school re-opens tomorrow (29 Jan), MOE will be enhancing precautionary measures in view of the novel coronavirus situation. These include daily temperature taking and Leave of Absence for students and staff with a travel history to China. More details are in the attachment.

Let us all play our part in keeping good personal hygiene and taking social responsibility. There may be some inconveniences as preventive steps are taken, but together we can keep our children safe while minimising disruption to learning.

PS : An announcement has just been posted in PG. Hardcopies will be prepared for students (to be distributed via FTs) who are not on-board PG yet.

Name Tags

To ensure that our Gabrielites are identifiable by name, it is mandatory for them to have their name tags on their
school shirts /PE T- shirts throughout the school year.
To facilitate the process of ensuring that your son/ ward has his name tag, the uniform vendor will do a 1-time exercise
to expedite the orders of name tags. Name tags will be given by 31 Jan 2020 for orders paid by 10 Jan 2020. Please
place your order with our vendor, Shirley Season Wear, via Thereafter for ad hoc orders, the leadtime is expected to be at least 6 weeks.
